So you can have all the “how-to” tips in the world to achieve changing your body, but where are the tips to love it how it is already?!
So today? Let’s dive into what is keeping you from getting where you want to be, and fix those things, FAST.
ISSUE #1: You find yourself saying negative things about your body, like, “I feel gross.”
FIX #1: Become conscientious of what you say about yourself. Your outward thoughts quickly become your inner thoughts because your brain doesn’t know the difference. Luckily, you can change your inner thoughts by outwardly projecting positive things about yourself and your body. So for every negative thought that pops into your head, say three positive ones to offset that.
ISSUE #2: You avoid wearing clothes that you like because you would be too self-conscious wearing them out.
FIX #2: Start by wearing these outfits at home where you’re in your comfort zone. That way, there’s no pressure to “suck in” or “stand tall.” Simply wear clothes that you enjoy. Take this to the next level by wearing ONE “risky” outfit a week. Make it a point to increase this number if you can.
ISSUE #3: You don’t want to be in pictures because you’re afraid of how you’ll look.
FIX #3: A little tough love on this one – your friends and family want you to be a part of their photos – and how sad would it be to look back on these memories and not see yourself and how happy you were because of your body? You will never get time back. After taking the photo, you don’t have to look at it. But, I can assure you, in a group picture EVERYONE is looking at themselves in the picture. Yourself included. You are having fun. Document that ish! This is where a Boudoir Session can help. Not only will it capture yourself in time, but it will help you look at yourself with much kinder eyes.
Do you relate to any of these? Will you be taking action on any of the above to shift your mindset about yourself?
